Poetry is a literary art. An art which uses language in rhythmic ways to express human emotions, ideas and lived experiences. To express what it feels to love. To feel pain. To celebrate. To grieve. And to think. To put into words, what it means to be human and naturally intelligent.​

 

Computers are machines. Hard with soft ware. An electronic processor of instructions and information written by people. Taking inputs and giving outputs. Artificially intelligent.

Inspired by this vintage t-shirt by fashion designer Jeremy Scott, Patrick Meagher's Varsity Poetry and the book I AM CODE An Artificial Intelligence Speaks, Poems by code-davinci-002 – Poetry by Computer is an account, an album of what-it-is to-be [human] in New York during this early age of artificially intelligent machines.
